The nitty gritty
At a more detailed level, we have skills in all the following areas to help address your business issues and challenges:
Change consultancy
Helping leaders and organisations plan for, implement and evaluate change – focusing on the ‘people’ side of change and on smooth implementation.
Strategic brand consultancy
Guiding brand strategy, especially with Brand Models that give organisations clear focus and direction – usually involving a vision, brand essence and values.
Research design and analysis
Understanding internal and external views on key business issues and generating insights to help shape an organisation’s future direction.
Leadership facilitation
Designing and delivering inspiring, interactive workshops and events for leaders that help them mould their organisation, or themselves as a leadership team.
Executive coaching and mentoring
Working with individuals and teams in leadership positions, to help them set future direction and navigate their organisations through periods of change.
Internal engagement and communications
Engaging people in an organisation, through clear and well-targeted communications, to support its vision and ambition.
Visual identity development
Creating a powerful visual identity, an organisation’s visual ‘armour’, that is the outward expression of who they are or want to be.
Verbal identity and naming
Developing a distinctive verbal style that mirrors and supports a visual identity, and corporate and divisional naming.
Storytelling and wordsmithing
The power of the written word, employed in business communications and the great stories that an organisation has to tell.
Employer branding
Helping organisations to recruit and retain the best people, by having a strong brand in the employment market.
Event design and facilitation
Creating and helping facilitate powerful events for organisations that support significant developments or major initiatives involving change.
Programme direction and delivery
Planning and providing clear direction for client programmes, ensuring successful delivery on brief, on budget and on time.
Awayday/workshop facility
Sculpt also has an awayday/workshop facility – Priory Farm Barn.
This is a Grade II listed meeting venue nestled in gorgeous Suffolk countryside, five miles from Diss and only 1.5 hours train ride from the centre of London. It’s bright, airy and modern – the perfect place to bring a team of people to wrestle with business issues, create fresh solutions and plan ahead over one or more days.
The Barn has a large workshop/meeting room, a separate, smaller break-out room and plentiful outdoor garden and terrace space. There is also a fully fitted kitchen, where you can either prepare your own food as a team, or have locally-prepared food brought in, something we can arrange for you. There are also three bedrooms and an outdoor hot tub for those who want to stay over.
The layout of each meeting room can be adapted to suit your needs. The intimacy of the space – in a rural environment with comfy seating – is perfect for creative meetings, training sessions and awaydays.
We can facilitate meetings and workshops at The Barn – please contact us if you are interested in one or a number of us facilitating for you.
The Barn has full disabled access.
It is available for meetings between Monday and Friday, 9am – 6pm
We also have a range of facilities in Central London that can be used for meetings and workshops.
How we can help
Whether you are an international corporate, an SME on the way up,
or a public sector or not-for-profit organisation working to make things better,
at some point in your development you’ll need to go through
periods of change and adjustment.
These are some of the broader business challenges that
clients tend to come to us with and that we like to work with them on.
“I need a robust approach to help me drive through change in my organisation – these changes are likely to have a big impact on our people, and there’s a risk we’ll not implement the change well. How can I ensure I get it right?”
“The culture of our organisation is not fit for the challenges and opportunities we are facing. Can you help us build a better culture to ensure we are ready for what lies ahead?”
“There’s an urgent need to address particular poor behaviours in our organisation. How can I solve this problem?”
“A change programme is currently underway and people are resisting, so there’s a sense that nothing is really happening. How can I break this deadlock in a positive way?”
“We’re going through some changes, but we don’t really know what internal and external audiences think of what we’re doing, so we don’t know how to react. How can we find out?”
“We feel we need to help the leaders in our organisation both lead and manage change. How can we do this?”
“We need someone impartial to guide essential conversations about change and improvement in our organisation. Can you help us?”
“We need to find the best people to coach senior individuals and teams who are leading or managing change programmes. How can we find them?”
I have a Branding challenge
“My organisation has no clear positioning and needs advice on what the essence of its brand should be. Can you help us?”
“My company has a confusing and badly organised set of brands and needs a structure to organise and promote them well. Can you help us develop a brand architecture that will give us clarity and order?”
“We need a new brand model developing, comprising a new brand vision, essence, values and desired attributes. Can you help us?”
“We’ve been undergoing some significant changes to our market positioning and need to modify our look and feel to reflect these changes. How can we best do this?”
“Things have been ‘bumpy’ of late and our normally strong reputation has taken a hit. Can you help us regain our positive reputation?”
“The marketplace in which we operate has become extremely competitive and we need to completely reposition ourselves to survive. How can we do this?”
“It is really important for our organisation to express its distinctiveness as an employer so it can both attract and retain the best people. Can you help us develop a strong employer brand?”
“We have been in a rut for some time and need to refresh the way we present ourselves to existing and potential employees. What are the visual and verbal communication tools we can use to do this?”
“For some time now, our company has been failing to look consistent and cohesive across all its touchpoints with customers and key business partners. How can we resolve this?”
“We have noticed that the way in which our organisation speaks and writes is out of sync with the way it is presenting itself visually. This is causing us problems – how can we resolve this?”
“We have felt, for a while, we need a way of ensuring that all of our brand assets are protected and can be developed over time. Might you be able to act as our brand guardian and put appropriate systems in place?”
I have an Engagement challenge
“Our organisation is changing its strategic direction fundamentally, and we need to get our people to support it. Can you help us achieve this?”
“Our organisation is going through a major period of change and we need to find the best way to communicate that. Can you help us develop the right approach?”
“Our company is about to be restructured and we need a top notch communication approach to ensure it is a success. Can you help us with this?”
“Our company is rebranding and this needs to be communicated to all staff in a clear, inspirational and meaningful way. How can we go about this?”
“We are making some necessary changes to the culture of our organisation to ensure we remain at the top of our game. What are the best methods we can use to gain the support of our people for these important changes?”
“Our company is about to merge with another. We have heard a lot can go wrong at these times and want to try to ensure the best result for both existing companies. How can we best do this?”
“We’ve got some great success stories but we tend to just file them away as we don’t have the in-house skills to tell people about them – both inside and outside the organisation. How can we develop the appropriate skills?”
“Our organisation is about to reach a major milestone in its development. We’d like to recognise and celebrate this but don’t know how to go about it. What are the options we could consider?”
“We have reached a point when we feel it would be advantageous to reinforce our purpose and values, using a specially-designed awards programme that will recognise great on-brand behaviour. But, we’ve never done anything like this before, so how do we even start?”
“Over the coming months it will be important for leaders, managers and project teams to come together to debate and resolve some issues we have and to put in place a plan for the future. What is the best way to do this?”
